This month, I will be reviewing It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. This book is about a boy named Craig who has had depression and has barely eaten for the past few years. Craig plans to commit suicide, but then he calls the suicide hotline and they convince him to go to the hospital. Craig, when asked if he wants to "check in" unknowingly checks himself into an adult psychiatric hospital. This book is so good. The writing is perfect, the characters are perfect, and the cover is perfect. Everything about this book is just perfect. Ned Vizzini wrote this book so great. Ned himself spent a few days in a psychiatric hospital. He recently committed suicide because he was depressed. He was only 32 and had so much to live for. Rest in peace Ned Vizzini. t love this book because it is a great story and it could actually happen to people. You can't be mean to people, even if you're joking, because they might have the same problem as Craig and you won't k
